Discover Climate Controlled, Bobby Nashville's rotating art exhibit running September 28 - April 12, 2026. Curated by Red Arrow Gallery, these exceptional artworks have rested in silence – preserved, protected, and patient – awaiting the right moment to be seen.
It’s highly unlikely that you have seen any of the works in Climate Controlled, the new exhibition at the Bobby Nashville. That’s because the whole idea of the show is to focus on works that have been in climate-controlled storage for some time. More than just an art show, Climate Controlled opens the doors—literally and metaphorically—on works that have been tucked away in climate-controlled storage, shielded from time, elements and public view. This show features paintings and sculptures that have long been safeguarded behind the scenes—not waiting for preservation, but for the right moment. That moment is now, Sept. 28, when the exhibit opens at the Bobby Nashville. The show runs through April 12, 2026.
Climate Controlled is part of The Collection, the ongoing, rotating art exhibits curated by Katie Shaw and Ashley Layendecker of Nashville’s Red Arrow Gallery. The Collection is intended to foster art-focused conversations and Climate Controlled is well-poised to do so. The exhibition features a range of large-scale works, from bold and daring to quietly introspective. Some are well-known, some never-before-seen. But all share one essential element: they’ve been waiting, not forgotten.
The name, Climate Controlled, gives a playful nod to the hidden spaces where art is stored. Artists whose works are in the show include Lindsy Davis, Dana Oldfather, Johnson Ocheja, Daniel Holland, John Paul Kesling, Christopher Cole, Jeremy Shockley and Eleanor Aldrich.
Climate Controlled is both a reveal and a release: an opportunity to view artworks that, while off-view, never lost their power. It runs throughout the hotel spaces on the lobby and mezzanine levels. It is a free show and open to the public.
