For some people, coming to Nashville is a bucket-list trip. But what if you could have a bucket-list experience while you are in Music City? That’s the dream!
Living here day-to-day, the folks at the Bobby Hotel Nashville get a glimpse of once-in-a-lifetime experiences it is possible to have when visiting Nashville. All throughout 2025, we’ll highlight some of the things that might be on your bucket list and tell you how to do them.
It’s not just the megastars who get to have guitars made just for them. You can head over to Cummins Station, just south of Broadway and get exactly what you want, and no one cares how well you play. At Gibson Garage’s Made-to-Measure bar you pick out the wood, finish, color, pickups and knobs of your dream guitar, be it acoustic or electric.
And, how would you know what your dream guitar is like if you haven’t played others? Well, you can test out Gibson, Epiphone and Kramer six strings in-store before you choose. (Don’t worry, there are headphones, so no one else can hear you playing if you don’t think your ability isn’t up to Nashville standards.) There are hundreds of guitars to play, including some rotating overhead.
Gibson Garage is open seven days a week. In addition to guitars, they carry amplifiers and more, so you can trick out your accessories for your custom instrument.
Don’t forget to check back later this year for more of our bucket-list suggestions.
