Erica Westenberger is an interdisciplinary artist from New Orleans, LA.
She received her BFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago in 2014, and graduated with an MFA from Tulane University in 2023. That same year, Sibyl Gallery exhibited her second solo exhibition, a murmur at foredawn. Themes within this body of work expanded into sculptural and installation-based pieces–a shift within her practice that she is currently exploring alongside her drawn work. \ Westenberger’s work has been exhibited nationally, including at the Delta Triennial at the Arkansas Museum of Fine Art, Field Projects gallery in New York, and Sibyl Gallery in New Orleans. Her work has been published in ArtMaze Magazine, and she has participated in residencies at Joan Mitchell Center, Oxbow School of Art, and Stove Works.
